I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

I pledge that I will serve faithfully in the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program, attend meetings regularly, participate actively in unit activities, obey my officers, wear my uniform properly, and advance my education and training rapidly to prepare myself to be of service to my community, state and nation.

As a Civil Air Patrol Member, I pledge to promote an uncompromising safety environment for myself and others and to prevent the loss of or damage to Civil Air Patrol assets entrusted to me. I will perform all of my activities in a professional and safe manner and will hold myself accountable for my actions in all of our missions for America.

On my honor as a Civil Air Patrol Cadet, I will not lie, cheat, steal, or commit any act of intentional dishonesty nor tolerate those who do.

“Semper Vigilans -- Always Vigilant” This reflects the ever-ready status of the Civil Air Patrol. It means that every member, cadet and senior, must be prepared to respond effectively to any situation.
